NHS App from NHS Digital maintained robust download numbers throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 472K downloads in mid-July. Weekly downloads showed a slight decline towards the end of September, ending the quarter at around 331K. Active users for the app saw a significant rise in July, reaching over 2.6M, but gradually decreased to about 2.4M by the end of September.
NHS COVID-19 experienced a notable drop in downloads as the quarter progressed. The app started with 247K downloads in late June, falling to 67K by the end of September.
